To calculate the voltage regulation of the alternator, we can use the following formula:

Voltage Regulation = (No-load voltage - Full-load voltage) / Full-load voltage

No-load voltage = Full-load voltage + (Full-load current x Resistance) + (Full-load current x Synchronous reactance)

Substituting the given values, we get:

No-load voltage = 230.9 + (21.6 x 0.5) + (21.6 x 10) = 457.7 V

Finally, we can calculate the voltage regulation using the formula:

Voltage Regulation = (No-load voltage - Full-load voltage) / Full-load voltage

Substituting the values we just found, we get:
