Number of phases = 3

Number of coils per phase = 16

Coil span factor (Kc) = cos (π / 8) = 0.9239

Coil pitch factor (Kp) = sin (π x 2 / 8) / sin (π x (2 + 6) / 8) = 0.9659

Winding factor (Kw) = (Kc x Kp) / 2 = (0.9239 x 0.9659) / 2 = 0.4466

Total number of conductors per phase (Z) = 16 coils x 10 turns = 160 conductors per phase

Fundamental induced emf per phase

(E) = 4.44 x f x Φ x Kw x Z = 4.44 x 50 x 0.25 x 0.4466 x 160 = 1398.14 V

Therefore, the line-to-line induced emf for a three-phase star connection is approximately 1400 V.
