  • At resonance frequency, the capacitive and inductive reactances cancel each other out, and the circuit behaves purely resistive.
  • Above resonance frequency, the capacitive reactance decreases, while the inductive reactance increases.
  • Since the inductive reactance is proportional to the frequency, it increases faster than the capacitive reactance decreases.
  • As a result, the circuit becomes predominantly inductive, and the voltage across the inductor becomes larger than the voltage across the capacitor.
