Where do we use keywords?
Keywords are used in several places in a website or digital content, including:
Title: The title of a webpage, blog post, or article is one of the most important places to include keywords. Search engines give a lot of weight to the title when determining the relevance of a page to a search query.
Tags: Tags are used to classify and organize content on a website, and they can include keywords that are relevant to the content. Search engines can use these tags to understand the topics that a webpage covers and to determine its relevance to a search query.
Description: The meta description is a brief summary of a webpage's content that appears in the search engine results. It's also a good place to include keywords that are relevant to the content. However, it should be noted that the use of keywords in the meta description does not affect ranking but it does affect the click-through rate.
Headings: Use keywords in headings (H1, H2, H3) to give the search engine an idea of what the page is about.
Body: Use keywords naturally throughout the body of your content to give the search engine an idea of what the page is about.
URLs: Use keywords in the URLs of your pages to make it clear what the page is about.
It's important to use keywords in a way that's natural and easy to read. Stuffing too many keywords into your content can make it difficult to read and may even be seen as spammy by search engines, which can negatively impact your search engine rankings.
